The shortlist for the 2016 C. I. Travel Group Hotel Awards has been announced, with 12 hotels across the Channel Islands nominated. The final winners will be announced on 16th March.
Now in its second year, the awards scheme recognises excellence and professionalism in the Channel Islands’ tourism and hospitality sector, and reflects C. I. Travel Group's commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service.
The C. I. Travel Group Hotel Awards are open to any hotel business that is a client of C. I. Travel Group, in both Jersey and the Bailiwick of Guernsey: 4 & 5 Star (luxury) hotels, and 3 and 2 Star (mid-range) hotels.
Awards are given to the Hotel of the Year in each category, in each island, based on feedback scores and reviews received by C. I. Travel Group’s customers, enabled by Feefo’s innovative online reviews system. Hotel size has also been considered when compiling the shortlist, reflecting the fact that there is a wide range of accommodation sizes in the Channel Islands. Shortlisted and winning hotels will receive a quality brand marque to use on their own promotional activity, and a certificate to display in their hotels.
Only genuine customers can post a review on the Feefo website, which means that nominees for the 2016 awards can be confident their success is down to honest feedback from people who have stayed in their properties.
