C. I. Travel Group Celebrates 10 Years of Direct Flights to Majorca.
C. I. Travel Group is celebrating flying more than 13,000 islanders direct to Majorca from the Channel Islands in the last 10 years. May 2018 sees the Jersey based company wave off their 10th year of flights to Majorca with a direct weekly service on Sundays throughout the summer until the 23rd September.
For their 10th year of flying to Majorca, FlyDirect has further developed their summer service. Listening to client feedback, FlyDirect has secured weekend slots for their Majorca programme and has partnered with Spanish airline Air Europa using a 120 seat Embraer 195 jet aircraft with a flight time of under two hours.
FlyDirect are not only listening to clients but they want their clients to listen to them. May is Melanoma Awareness Month, and working in partnership with chosen charity, Donna Annand Melanoma Charity, the local team were joined by mascot Alan the Mole to wave off holidaymakers with advice for staying safe in the sun, complimentary UV wrist bands and sun cream. The company also handed over a cheque for £700 for the charity to carry out vital work.
Direct routes from Jersey are in high demand and FlyDirect is striving to develop their programme so that more islanders can reach their holiday destination with ease. In the last 10 years, C. I. Travel Group and FlyDirect have taken in total over 20,000 Channel Islanders direct to the Spanish sun across their programme. During the last decade, to meet demand, they have increased capacity with more frequent departures utilising larger jet aircraft as well adding Tenerife, Barcelona and Madrid to the existing Majorca and Costa del Sol routes.
