Reservations and Customer Services Advisor

C. I. Travel Group are looking to recruit a full-time reservations agent to join our busy and successful customer services team.
The role involves selling our wide range of holiday and travel products over the telephone to travel agents and direct clients. The role requires you to be sales orientated, have a great telephone manner and be able to offer excellent customer service. In addition you need to have good keyboard skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You must possess strong numeracy and communication skills, including good written and spoken English. 5 years residency is required.
This is a salaried position and hours are based on a 37.5 hour week on a rota basis to include some weekends and bank holidays. Our office is located close to the airport with free parking and access to the main bus route.
Bontour Incoming is recruiting
Bontour Incoming (part of C. I. Travel Group) is the Channel Islands leading Destination Management Company, working with a large number of UK & European tour operators that offer FIT and group programmes to the islands.
Due to continued growth we are now recruiting for two roles to join our team, based at our offices close to Jersey Airport.
Groups Sales & Operations Co-ordinator – (Full time – 37.5 hours per week)
You will be responsible for professionally and effectively handling group enquiries, ensuring sales opportunities are identified and converted. You will manage the administration of sales and work closely with on-island and off-island suppliers to ensure the programme meets the requirements of the operator and clients. You will provide operational support during the groups’ stays.
Individual & Groups Administrator – (Part time – minimum 20 hours per week)
You will support the team by providing a range of administrative services, including liaising with clients and suppliers as well as ensuring that all reservations for individuals and groups are professionally administered from enquiry through to departure home. You will also be responsible for entering reservations data into the company’s systems, compiling itineraries and producing invoices.
For both roles you will need to demonstrate excellent customer service, organisational and administrative skills. Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Command of a second language, such as German or French would be beneficial. General keyboard and computer skills are needed. Knowledge of the Channel Islands’ tourism industry is favourable but not essential. Full training will be given.
