Digital Marketing Executive
C. I. Travel Group is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the proactive and driven Product and Marketing Team.
C. I. Travel Group is the Channel Island’s largest Tour Operator and you would be working across 7 websites for our diverse travel brands whilst getting involved with other digital marketing activity within the group when required. In this role you will be reporting to the Marketing & Development Manager to implement and develop the Group’s digital marketing strategy across all brands.
You will increase online conversions to meet budgeted objectives, evaluate activity and make recommendations that will improve conversion levels for the future. Your role will include working with 3rd parties to manage the Group’s SEO, paid search activity and affiliate marketing. You will grow the websites in-line with new digital developments, enhancing content and UX as well as maintaining quality control on both the front-end of the website and in the booking engine, working with developers and designers where necessary. You will accurately report on online activity and conversions, along with booking trends, making suggestions for driving the digital strategy forward to exceed budgets.
The ideal candidate must be highly organised and be able to work cooperatively as part of a team as well as being able to work proactively on their own initiative. An analytical mind and project management skills are essential plus accuracy and excellent communication skills in English. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing role and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential. The role requires experience of content management systems, Google Marketing Platform as well as basic HTML / CSS and Photoshop. Past experience in travel or hospitality is an advantage. This is a permanent, part-time role (initially a maximum of 25 hours / week) and office based in Jersey; five years residency is not required.
