Digital Marketing Executive

C. I. Travel Group is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the proactive and driven Product and Marketing Team.

C. I. Travel Group is the Channel Island’s largest Tour Operator and you would be working across 7 websites for our diverse travel brands whilst getting involved with other digital marketing activity within the group when required. In this role you will be reporting to the Marketing & Development Manager to implement and develop the Group’s digital marketing strategy across all brands.

You will increase online conversions to meet budgeted objectives, evaluate activity and make recommendations that will improve conversion levels for the future. Your role will include working with 3rd parties to manage the Group’s SEO, paid search activity and affiliate marketing. You will grow the websites in-line with new digital developments, enhancing content and UX as well as maintaining quality control on both the front-end of the website and in the booking engine, working with developers and designers where necessary. You will accurately report on online activity and conversions, along with booking trends, making suggestions for driving the digital strategy forward to exceed budgets.

The ideal candidate must be highly organised and be able to work cooperatively as part of a team as well as being able to work proactively on their own initiative. An analytical mind and project management skills are essential plus accuracy and excellent communication skills in English. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing role and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential. The role requires experience of content management systems, Google Marketing Platform as well as basic HTML / CSS and Photoshop. Past experience in travel or hospitality is an advantage. This is a permanent, full-time role and office based in Jersey; five years residency is not required.

German Speaking Holiday Representative in Jersey

Seasonal Full Time Position – April to September 2020

Bontour Incoming is looking for a German Speaking Holiday Representative to welcome holiday makers to Jersey and ensure they have the best possible experience during their stay.

As the leading Destination Management Company, we work with a number of European tour operators that offer FIT and group programmes to the Channel Islands.

The position involves meeting flights/ferries, conducting hotel visits and giving assistance in case of enquiries and problems, as well as some general office administration.

This includes working all weekends and some mornings/evenings.

The suitable candidate has to speak German fluently. He / she will be reliable, hardworking, flexible and able to work on his/her own initiative. Experience in hospitality/customer service would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Good knowledge of the islands and what they can offer the visitors during their stay, as well as a clean driving licence is essential.

Reservations Agent

The role involves selling our wide range of holiday and travel products over the telephone to travel agents and direct clients. The role requires you to be sales orientated, have a great telephone manner and be able to offer excellent customer service. In addition, you need to have good keyboard skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You must possess strong numeracy and communication skills, including good written and spoken English. 5 years residency is required.
